Municipal Solid Waste (MSW)—more commonly known as trash or garbage—consists of everyday items we use and then throw away, such as product packaging, grass clippings, furniture, clothing, bottles, food scraps, newspapers, appliances, paint, and batteries. This comes from our homes, schools, hospitals, and businesses.

Guwahati Municipal Corporation ( West Boragaon Dumpsite) North East Enviro Tech is currently executing the Bio Mining / Segregation of Legacy waste using Trommels, other allied infrastructure and manpower for Guwahati Municipal Corporation in West Boragaon Dumpsite. Total contract value – is approx Rs. 10.00 Crore. In which we have to segregate 361,000 MT out of the totally available estimated 17 Lakhs Tons of Legacy Waste of West Boragaon dumpsite.

The process involves excavation of the waste using JCB, sieving, segregation and baling
